Small files. Clear choices.
Effective September 13, 2026. How DEALR, a Baitjet company, uses cookies and records optional browsing activity.
You control optional analytics
Cookies are small files your browser sends back to the website that set them. We use necessary cookies for features you request, such as sign-in and the private demo, and to remember your privacy choice.
Optional search and listing-view analytics are off until you choose Accept optional or enable them in your preferences. Reject optional keeps them off. You can still browse, list, message, and make offers either way. Simply continuing to browse or closing the settings window does not give consent.
Cookies used by DEALR
These first-party cookies support the functions described below. We do not set advertising cookies or use third-party analytics tools.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
dealr-cookie-consent | Necessary. Remembers your analytics choice, the policy version, and when you chose. Contains no account ID or advertising identifier. | 180 days from your most recent choice. |
sb-…-auth-token | Necessary when you sign in. Supabase stores the account session; a large session may use numbered cookie chunks. | Up to 400 days per cookie, refreshed during session updates; removed by successful sign-out. The session itself can expire or be revoked earlier. |
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier | Necessary for secure sign-in. Connects a Google or email callback to the browser that started it. | Cleared when used during the code exchange. An abandoned sign-in may leave it until browser expiry, up to 400 days. |
dealr-demo | Necessary when you open the interactive demo. Identifies your private fictional workspace and demo role. | Up to seven days from starting or switching the demo. Leaving it makes the session inactive; the cookie may remain until expiry. |
What optional analytics record
If you opt in while signed in or using the interactive demo, DEALR can record a search event and its result count, or a listing-view event and the listing ID, together with your account or demo actor ID and a timestamp. This helps us understand marketplace usage and provide listing-view counts. Raw search text is not included in these analytics events.
These records are stored in DEALR’s database. There is no separate analytics tracking cookie or third-party analytics script. Anonymous visitors without an account or demo session are not given an analytics identifier.
Choosing Reject optional or turning analytics off stops future optional collection on this browser. It does not delete earlier records. Messages, offers, listings, saved-item actions, and security or audit records needed to operate the marketplace continue under our privacy policy.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer of any page, or use the button above. Save analytics as off or choose Reject optional to withdraw permission as easily as you gave it. While your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep optional analytics off even if an earlier choice allowed them.
The choice applies to this browser on this website. Other browsers, devices, or domains need their own choice. We ask again when the choice expires, is cleared, or the cookie policy version changes. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in, the demo, or remembering your choice.
External content and service providers
Supabase provides sign-in and database services, and Vercel hosts DEALR. Listing photos and videos may load from the external addresses supplied by sellers; those hosts receive the network information needed to deliver the media. Choosing Google sign-in takes you through Google’s service, which has its own privacy and cookie practices. The controls on this page govern DEALR’s optional analytics.
